Start buying the blue, because it was confirmed today that our Sweet Pea is a BOY! :) We had our ultrasound today and it was THE most incredible thing we have ever done. We got to see our perfect, healthy little boy moving around in my belly. We both cried... it was such a happy moment. Seeing our child for the first time was amazing! My gut told me all along that it was a boy, so I guess the saying "Mother knows best" is true! :)
Everything is just absolutely perfect - we saw saw his little legs, arms, head, belly, eyes, nose, spine, boy parts, butt (which is soooo cute!!!), and his heart beating!!! The heart was beating 148 beats per minute and has all 4 chambers, which is perfect! At one point, the baby was playing with the umbilical cord, which was hilarious!!! He was also flexing his muscle... which was absolutely adorable! He's already flexing like his Daddy likes to do! hahaha. He is in the 80th percentile and is 13 oz - almost a pound!!! Our little guy is developing right on track. :)
I have some ultrasound pictures that I will scan and upload soon. Our little guy is so perfect already and we couldn't be happier. Just a few more months and we'll get to meet him in person! Stay tuned for the pictures!!

Boy, oh Boy, oh BOY! :0) Oh, the shades of BLUE...Chicago Cubs blue, Chicago Bears blue, North Carolina blue... I'm going shopping tomorrow! I am so ready to be a Grammy and anxiously awaiting Sweet Pea's arrival. And naturally, Grandpa is already scouting out fishing holes! Haha

Isn't it just amazing to see him! Words can't describe it! Happy to hear he is a happy bouncing boy! See you did know what you were having isn't that weird? We had the intuition about Grady too. When I saw you in person I kind of thought it would be a boy too :).
