5 Months and counting!

OMG - Brian turned 5 months old on August 24th! I just can't believe how quickly time is going and how big he is getting! He is so much fun and is the happiest baby. His personality is outstanding - he is definitely going to be a talker! He loves to make mommy and daddy laugh on a daily basis! When I took him for his 5 month check up a week and a half ago, he was 16 lbs, 13 oz and 26 inches long! He's definitely putting some meat on his bones ... it's soooo cute! He's eating cereal twice a day, mixed with some applesauce for flavor (that oatmeal is just gross!!!) He's sitting up really well now and loves play time. We feel so lucky to have him in our lives, he makes us so happy! :)

Sophie the Giraffe

This is the answer to the poll question! We got Sophie as a gift and now that Brian is teething, he LOVES her!! He can't stop playing with her!! :) Brian loves the other toys, too, but there's just something about this cute spotted animal that he can't resist!

Watch out world... he's sitting up now!

Well, not completely straight up, but he is able to balance himself to sit without any assistance!!! It was so cute to watch him do it, but it also made me want to cry! My little boy is growing up so fast!! (yes, yes, I know... I'm being ridiculous... but I am allowed.) Daddy says that he's ready to play with the big boys now! :)

We Got a Makeover!

Brian was tired of the same old page, so we decided to give my blog a bit of a makeover to switch things up! Hope you like the new look! :)

4 Months - where does the time go?!

Brian turned 4 months on July 24th! At his 4-month appointment (2 weeks ago!), he weighed 14 lbs, 6 oz and was 25 1/2 inches long. He is getting soooo big so damn fast! Time is flying!! He is so much fun... his personality is shining through more and more every day. One thing is for sure - when Brian learns how to talk, he is never going to be quiet! He keeps me entertained all day with his babbles and coos and especially his awesome laugh. :) Time sure is flying, but I'm enjoying every single second!
