With Thanksgiving just a few days away, it makes me think (even more than I already do) about all of the things that I am thankful for. And this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for so much.
I am thankful that Vahe and I have been so incredibly blessed to have found one another, and that our marriage is strong and healthy.
I am thankful to be carrying our child – our son. In just a few short months, he will bring more joy to our lives than we could ever imagine.
I am thankful for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
I am thankful for my parents, who have always loved and supported me throughout everything in my 28 years. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them.
I am thankful for Vahe, who has taken care of me every single step of my pregnancy. He rubs my feet almost every single night! :)
I am thankful for a roof over our heads, food on our table, hot water to take showers, and a warm bed to sleep in at night.
I am thankful that Reese is potty trained. He still needs work in other areas, but I am thankful for him, and the joy he has brought to our lives.
I am thankful for my wonderful friends, who have become like family.
I am thankful for our new President. He represents a country and a world that I am excited to bring our son into. I am thankful for him bringing so much hope and faith back into the homes of our country.
I am thankful for chocolate, York peppermint patties, McDonald’s, pudding, bread, & chocolate (yes, again). Thank you for making my pregnancy go smoothly.
I am thankful for maternity pants. Boy, will those ever come in handy for Thanksgiving dinner!
I am thankful for McDonald’s.
I am thankful that I have family and friends who support us and surround us with love day in and day out.
I am thankful for technology – everything from the ultrasound the allowed us to see our son jumping around and playing with his umbilical cord, to text messaging, to the ever-addicting Facebook.
I am thankful for sweatpants and sweatshirts.
I am thankful for Tums and hand sanitizers.
I am thankful for all of the blessings in my life, no matter how big or small. I pray that I continue to be blessed.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you take a moment to think of all the things you are thankful for!
Love,
Lauren

Not so many people are as thankful for their life and abundant blessings. It makes me THANKFUL that you acknowledge and appreciate all that is good in your life and everything you have been (and will be) blessed with.
ReplyDeleteI am blessed that I have a wonderful daughter whom I love and she loves me just as much in return. I am thankful that we have always had an awesome mother/daughter relationship. I am very proud of you and love you very much.
